We're back with another Get The Look, our first for the new year and we couldn't be more excited to show off this weeks feature: Succulent Weddings!

Succulents have been a growing trend in themes for weddings for quite a while now. They're perfect for 'let love grow', summer weddings, spring weddings, desert themed weddings and so much more. They're simple and stylish and really easy to carefor which makes them perfect for weddings.

With these photos I hope to provide you with inspiration for your up oming wedding. From top to bottom, left to right:

Succulent and Burlap Four Tiered Cake

This lovely creation by Blue Lace Cakes , out of Washington DC is a perfect mix of a modern and classic wedding cake. With plenty of room for a small topper, this wedding cake features dozens of stylish realistic looking succulents wrapping around the four tiers of this cake with burlap separating each tier.

Earth-Toned Dresses with Succulent Crown Wearing Bridesmaids

I'm not sure what I love most about this bridal party, the fact that the bride chose to put her girls in various colored bridesmaid dresses, the succulent hair crowns or the bouquets. Mixing and Matching Bridesmaid dresses have been a trend on the rise in recent years and these bridesmaids pulled the look off wonderfully.  Image found on WantThatWedding.co.uk photo by  Saysha Baker Photography.

 Succulents in Bridal Hair Clips

The Succulent Hair Clip by FlowersofSharon on Etsy allows for you to add a beautiful headpiece to your hair without having to worry about the flowers welting throughout a hot summer day. This headpiece is made out of an air-dry clay that is lightweight. The reviews for this shop are really positive and the work looks stunning.

Succulents on Plates

In this particular photo we see sucuclents wrapped in a birch tree inspired container in a group of three. Now I'm not sure if these are wedding favors or if they are just random decorations on a plate, but you could do this as a favor slash place card combo that your guests will love by adding a small name tag to the string holding the succulents together. There wasn't much information provided with this photo that I found on Happywedd.com but it's a great example of something you can easily add to your wedding.

Groomsman Boutonniere

Add a special touch to your groomsmen boutonniers witha stylish succulent. We found this boutonnier on weddingomania.com which provided little information on the image itself but we believe this is a perfect style for any couple with a desert themed wedding.

Each of these photos above show many styles that succulents can be incorporated into. We love the rich summer vibes that these cacti bring to a wedding.hich item will you be incorporating into your upcoming summer wedding?
